For farming, the best Slayers 2 breathing is Flame (cheap, big area). For PvP, Thunder is the only Slayers 2 breathing style every outlet ranks S or A. For dungeons with friends, Sound. If you rolled a clan that matches a Slayers 2 breathing style (Rengoku, Agatsuma, Uzui, Kocho, Shinazugawa, Himejima, Iguro, Tomioka), follow the clan.

How many breathing styles are in Slayers 2?
Slayers 2 launched with eight breathing styles: Thunder, Sound, Serpent (Snake), Insect, Flame, Stone, Wind and Water. Each Slayers 2 breathing style has its own trainer and questline.
How do you get a breathing style in Slayers 2?
Reach level 25, travel to the trainer for the Slayers 2 breathing style you want, bring the materials (Demon Horns, Beast Cores or Wen for some styles), finish the training tasks and beat the trainee. Wall Climb is required to reach several trainers.
What is the best breathing in Slayers 2?
There is no single answer yet. Destructoid ranks Water and Thunder at S, Beebom puts Flame and Wind at S, and GAMES.GG picks Thunder and Sound. Thunder is the only Slayers 2 breathing style ranked S or A by all three. See the Slayers 2 Tier List.
What is the easiest Slayers 2 breathing for beginners?
Flame is the easiest Slayers 2 breathing for PvE: a direct opener, a ranged option and an M1 counter, and it only asks for 10 Demon Horns. Insect is the cheapest unlock (just level 25).
Can you change your breathing style in Slayers 2?
Yes. A Breathing Reset (for example from the BREATHRESET code) clears your style, then you meet the new trainer's requirements from scratch.
Is Snake Breathing the same as Serpent Breathing in Slayers 2?
Yes. Snake and Serpent refer to the same Slayers 2 breathing style, taught by Obari on the cliff above the starting area.
